We’re getting ready to “hit the road” so to speak, so I’m not going to spend a lot of time narrating our September budget (plus it’s pretty self explanatory this month. It turned out pretty okay in my estimation. We stayed within or under budget on most things, the only major exception being transportation. This is the first time we haven’t been within walking distance of basic amenities (like groceries). Every time we go into town it costs us around $2.25 per person round trip – that adds up if you go into town a lot. Shopping was more than budgeted because we had to buy supplies for all the work we were doing. One thing to note is that I included our travel expenses in our July and August budget rather than this budget (it was easier for my accounting purposes).
Off to bed!
